Three Creeks was founded by Dr. Kyle Raque, PsyD, and Beth Raque, LPN. Dr. Raque is a Licensed Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in working with children, teens and families. Mrs. Raque is a Licensed Practical Nurse with both nursing experience and over 20 years’ experience in working with animals. Both Dr. Kyle and Beth will soon complete the requirements to become Path Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning.
Three Creeks Wilderness Therapy Program Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) focuses on helping children and families overcome the challenges of mental health and emotional issues, certain developmental issues, behavioral health problems and family struggles.

Situated on a 50-acre farm in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, Three Creeks utilizes a combination of evidenced-based interventions and experiential interventions. Treatment modalities include dialectical behavioral therapy techniques adapted for children and teens, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance-based therapy, and mindfulness.
As part of their treatment, children may also experience equine-assisted psychotherapy interventions, hiking in nature around the property, and, eventually, a low-ropes course (under construction). Guided by the principle that all children are unique and representative of various neurotypes, Three Creeks promotes a strength-based, nonjudgmental approach to treatment. Children are not labeled as disordered. Instead, Three Creeks focuses on building resiliencies in social, psychological and spiritual/natural domains.
Treatment plans include individual therapy work, equine-assisted therapy interventions, group therapy experiences, and family therapy interventions. Medication management/consultation is also available upon request.
Our therapeutic herd of horses, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, and miniature cows work alongside our Equine Specialist and Therapist to provide your child with a healing experience that will nurture and foster resilience for years to come.
